The Great Showdown

Great Showdown is a technology event format where alternative frameworks, tools or approaches face off in solving the exactly same task.

This is great for

• comparing alternatives and choosing tools for your next project based on real world experience instead of feature lists, which tend to highlight only strong sides
• finding a pathway into learning a new tool by drawing parallels between what you already know and other technologies with a real task as an example
